My first day is always unbearable. I slept all day, missed breakfast and lunch. Too irritated and in too much pain to want to cook something. Husband gets pizza, it's all I've eaten today.
I'm no stranger to disciplining myself into doing things I don't really want to do. It's been raining and cold all week but I got myself 8k-12k steps anyway. I didn't feel like cooking but did it anyway. Counted my calories and had healthy meals with enough protein even gym rats couldn't say it was too low.
But today I just couldn't. 1.5k steps and 1000cal of pizza. Is there anything I could do to keep up the momentum and not let my monthlies throw a wrench in my plans? Or do I just take the day as a given- O well, back to it tomorrow.
