Hey, i’m 22 (6’1) (15.5st) and hopefully about to undergo a massive weight cut (2-3 stone) in the next 5-6 months. It’s the first time I’ve attempted this (properly) but i am super committed but also want to make sure that I don’t make any mistakes and see steady progress.
I don’t care about seeing progress instantly as I’m sure lots of people do, I just want to make sure I’m doing the right things at the right time.
I know weight loss is done in the kitchen, so I’m going to be on a strict low-carb diet with my exceptions being whole grain rice and bread every now and then. Gym 5 times a week (not too sure what the best exercises are, any advice highly appreciated)
Should I calorie count? Should I focus on muscle gain at the gym, or something more aerobic? Can I have a cheat day? What are some nice, healthy snacks that maybe isn’t fruit / veg? Can my food intake be dominated by meat?
Thanks in advance
