I know that this question is asked to death, but I’m having a hard time deciding how “active” I am. I’ve been doing 1200 calories and it feels like too much of a deficit.
I’m 127 pounds and 5’3. My goal weight is 115. I’m a student and a server. I work three days a week and on those days I walk about 16,000 steps. On the other four days I walk anywhere from 6,000 to 12,000 steps (not including gym). Every day I go to the gym and do cardio for 20 minutes and lift weights for about an hour. I know that lifting weights, squats, hip thrusts, pulls, etc. don’t burn too many calories, so I don’t know how to consider that activity.
What’s a good deficit for me to lose weight while building muscle?
