I am wondering when to transition from numbers to other non scale victories. I’ve been on a weird weight loss journey, I gained a lot of weight (a lot of fluid) from my thyroid tanking. Which is now more regulated.
Female 5’4 and went from high 160s to 140. Started working on strength training and have been stable at 150 for a while. As I’ve been working on strength training I feel like I’m getting more fit, clothes fit better, I look better etc. I do a good amount of cardio but can’t really get the scale to move much. 150 is still overweight (by like 5 to 10 pounds).
Should I start focusing on the non scale victories? I feel like I’ve become very obsessed with the scale and it takes over my whole focus. I feel guilty for eating all the time. I recently had an IUD removed and feel less bloated so maybe that’ll reduce me by a few pounds. Just looking for opinions from lose it-ers
