I think a big reason why I gained weight and am not losing it is being too sedentary. I work in an office, so I am sitting all day other than walking around the office every so often to grab paperwork from the printer and such.
Then I come home, and apart from working out, and standing up to make dinner, etc, I don't get up and move very much. I live in a ground floor small studio apartment, so its not like I have stairs or a big house to walk around in. Anyone have any tips for getting more movement? I am honestly considering giving up my couch because I am lounging around a lot on it. Like embarrassed to say, but I spend probably at least 4-5 hours sitting on the couch after work.
Many of my hobbies are sit down activities, like writing, playing piano, and reading. But I also have a bad habit of watching tv, movies, and playing on my phone/using youtube.
Any tips greatly appreciated.
