34(f), 97kg/213pounds, 5'7.
I'm trying to work out what my calories/macros should be for steady weightloss. I've cut out starch/carbs before and dropped 21kg/46pounds fairly quickly then and maintained this for about 2 years until lockdown happened in August.
I've since gained 15kg/33pounds mainly from going off the rails with ubereats and drinking alot! I've stopped drinking now.
My question is in your experience, if the calorie limit ive calculated is around 1600, does it matter what % of this is protein, fat, carbs? Some sites recommend 1.6 - 2.2 grams of protein plus a separate recommendation for fat then the remainder calorie allowance to carbs.
Ill probably keep starches for dinner meals as I've found I get hungry after eating them. Not sure if this is something separate like a hormone issue but anyhow;
I've never eaten for a lifestyle before, only fast weightloss but im determined to do this and interested in others experiences.
