Advice: Trying to get back on track

Long time lurker or the sub, first time seeking advice.

M36, SW 351, CW:298, GW: 220

To give some background, I started my journey in Dec 2019, before the world went nuts with Covid. I was going on a family trip and I happened to step on the scale and it tilted slightly over 350. Got me freaked out and I decided that day I needed to lose some weight.

Over the next 3 months, I was able to lose 15 pounds and get down to 335 range, which was fine but slow going. Covid hits, lockdowns, and all so I decide I am going to walk and walk and walk with CICO, and low and behold over the next 3 months I dip below 290. Great progress.

This is where the yoyo starts. I can't seem to drop anymore over the next several months so I start doing weights and boom, down another 20... but life gets in the way, holidays, work, kids, and 20 is back. This was 2021 for me up and down and up and down. At my lowest, I got 265, and now after getting Covid in December, the holidays, and work stress I am back to 298.

I can't seem to break the cycle. The thing is I know what the problem is. I am solid through the week with eating and come the weekend I throw down an entire tub of ice cream or bag of chips. Work outings and hammering drinks and steaks and pizza. I know it is a self-control issue. It has gotten so bad I struggle to find the will to even work out anymore and I have totally stopped tracking calories.

I need help. Probably some professional help at that but anything that works for people our there to get through the mental aspect. How do you manage to keep motivated? How do I get back on the train and stay on the train? How do I stop this spiral of eating and not doing anything and get back on the horse? How do you have self-control and not self-sabotage?

I have looked at apps (Noom, MyFitnessPal), support groups, and everything in between but I can't seem to get my head around accountability and a path forward.
