Healthiest way to loose 25lbs in two months

So I (29f) am about at 160lbs and want to go loose weight before summer. It’s just a goal I want to propose to myself.

I recently to the gym but haven’t been consistent these past few month but am tired of just failing. What tips as far as diet and exercise do you recommend for loosing fat and toning?

I’m really looking for helpful tips aside from the cliché “staying consistent”. I get it that it does the trick but I can consistently go to the gym and still feel lost as to what to do.

I had a trainer for about 2 months which helped familiarize myself with the machines but I couldn’t afford it long term. I really want to make the lifestyle change to have working out and eating healthier be my new norm.
