As I scrolled through the Apple Health app, I came across the resting energy calculation- it says that in the past month, I’ve averaged 2,000 calories burned per day while I’m minimally active. Is 2,000 good? Is it even accurate? I know there’s a lot of debate about the accuracy of a lot of formulas and calculations.
Should I maybe drop my calories from 1700-1800 to 1600-1700? Or am I okay where I’m at? I exercise daily, and always burn at least 570 calories per day (according to my watch, and 570 is what my daily goal is set at). Because the watch calories aren’t very accurate and often times over estimate, should I compensate for this more but cutting back my calories?
Any advice and insight would be appreciated :)
