M17 coming in at a bit over 6' and 166lb. I was about 30 pounds heavier 2 months or so ago, but ended up doing 1500-1800 cals a day and dropped the weight at around a pound every 2 days (which was surprisingly a lot quicker than I anticipated). I wasn't very active then, but now I am much more active (20-30,000 steps a day, weightlifting at the gym 5x a week and other activities) and am trying to build muscle and shave off some remaining fat at the same time. I want to eat at around maintenance, though TDEE calculators seem to differ wildly from my apple watch measurements, with my apple watch putting my daily burn at 4000-5000 calories vs my TDEE which is at 2500-2800. Not sure which one to follow, so should I just test eating 3000 a day and see if I lose, maintain or gain?
